AI is definitely the hottest topic in town in recent years. The power that AI can bring impacts our lives tremendously. In the era of the digital world, how can AI blend into Badoo, to be our superpower digital cupid and enhance the better user experience?

Apparently, Badoo introduces different AI Features to enhance the user experience, such as
-
Advanced algorithm: to pair up the users with similar backgrounds, interests, hobbies etc

Facial recognition: Male users have to take a photo via Badoo and the AI will detect if the account is created by a real person
-
Sensitive content: Sensitive content such as extreme political and harassments wording will be filtered by the AI and AI works with Badoo to prevent the users from posting sensitive content.

However, Badoo can defitfently go beyond than that! Let me introduce some of my ideas to showcase how AI can help :D

Badoo is always here for you: AI Chatbot
The first recommendation for Badoo is to insert a chatbot in their app, Facebook, and Instagram page. The dating app is a communication tool for the users, but users cannot interact with the brand directly. However, inserting the chatbot facilitates the interaction between Badoo and the users.
I used an AI tool to assist me in designing the chatbot. When the users click into the chatbot, the users can choose topics about understanding Badoo’s features, dating tips, and a simple quiz that the users can get to know themselves better. The videos below are for demonstration.

AI chatbot is recreating Badoo as an interactive and engaging dating app. As the chatbot is 24/7 available, it offers immediate and efficient customer support if users encounter difficulties, reinforcing the commitment to customer services and enhancing the user experience. Personalized content in a relaxed tone and style that aligns with Badoo’s personality also be provided to the users to make users feel connected. The engaging activity such as quizzes can make the interaction interesting and memorable. Badoo can then enhance the brand identity.
Avoid awkward dating? Let’s go on an immersive date!
Have you ever had any awkward dating experiences? You meet the person, turns out you have nothing to say and you cannot leave; Have you ever had fear of meeting a stranger offline, feeling insecure for your first date? Have you ever had difficulties meeting a person because of the distance, it is not easy to come up with a place and time that you two are available?

If you have experienced one of these, the AI immersive dating might be suitable for you! You are not constrained by the distance and time, just pick up your phone, click on “immersive dating” features in Badoo, and enjoy the time!
The idea is beyond video calling, AI will create a lifelike avatar-based meetup. Users can also choose and complete some activities together through the virtual date, like visiting a virtual museum, or enjoying a movie, or playing games and many more! The users can choose their preferred time as it’s operating 24h/7 days. It’s also ensuring the safety of the users in case they are fear of going on a date with a stranger.
In this suggestion, AI is strengthening the safety impression of Badoo. As users can decide whether to go on a virtual date before meeting the other user in reality, users can have fewer concerns, having their right to control over the date.
In addition, the previous finding in article 2 also figures out that users are into innovative and creative idea in dating app. AI immersive dating hasn’t been proposed by any other competitors. If Badoo can introduce this feature to their app, it can stand out from the crowd and enhance the brand identity.
